![]() ![]() Though, i'm pretty sure that Crimsonland (both the old one and even thenew one) has quite a big fan base, and those people (especially the fans of the classic version) are already adult and have, and are still willing to pay you their money for improving the game they love (and, maybe, even implement something new in it - like the online coop and or versus multiplayer fans asked for alot oftimes already) and would rather pay more for improvementsof this game, instead of some other games you are making recently. making games is your _work_ after all, and most people don't want to work for free. It just requires too much work and seems not worthy enough. ![]() Though, if it does backup them when i play the game, launching it from the context menu in the Library, i guess i can run it to play any way i like, and just sometimes run it from the Library to back up my saves (if only Steam won't do the opposite thing and replace my saves with some progress, made during the "offline" play with the old ones that the game made when i played it from the Library the last time i did it that way). Though, i'm not sure (or, rather, sure that it is not so) if Steam backups saves9or any data at all) of the "non-steam games" and applications, added to it manually, just to have Steam Ovelay in them, so i doubt that Steam will backup my saves if i do it like that. And yes, it is great that you've managed to make Steam backup the saves (for me it is the second, if not the main reason to use Steam for all games). Good to hear it is even better than everything else in these terms, and sad that you couldn't recompile the sources (why, btw?). ![]() Well, yes, for most games, the version number is in one of the corners of the main menu, but i haven't noticed it anywhere yet. ![]()
